Screenwriting Workshops

with Alexandra Ramniceanu

Whether you're in Paris or joining us online, we meet weekly to take your idea and turn it into a structured, compelling script, from early development to a completed draft.

The workshop is open to both feature films and TV series. It's a space for experienced writers to dive into a meaningful rewriting process, and for others to develop their first version with clarity and guidance.

This is not a place to dabble what matters here isn’t where you start, it’s that you show up, week after week, with the will to dig, question, and make your story the best version of itself.

You can choose between one-on-one sessions or a small, focused group. Either way, your project gets the time, structure, and feedback it needs to move forward.

One-on-one

This intensive 12-week workshop is built to take you from a clear idea to a completed draft, whether you're writing a feature or a series pilot.

Each session is fully tailored to your project, with precise feedback, dramaturgical clarity, and honest conversation about what you and  your story need, and what it’s really about.

Because what makes a script powerful isn’t just the structure, it’s the intention behind it.
My job is to help you uncover it, and build everything around that core.

It’s a space for writers who are ready to show up, dig deep, and stop writing alone.
With the right support, your script doesn’t just get written, it becomes alive.

Workshop Schedule

  • Weeks 1–4: In our first session, you’ll present your project in detail and we’ll dig into your deeper intentions. The following weeks are tailored to your specific needs and focus on clarifying your theme, intention, and the broader context of your story (historical, political, social…). We then move into character work: building strong characterization, psychological depth, and clear narrative arcs.

  • Weeks 5–12: You’ll begin writing between 10 to 15 pages each week. In every session, we’ll read, discuss, and analyze your pages together. You’ll receive precise feedback and clear rewriting directions to help you move forward, draft after draft, decision after decision.

In groups

We’re not always trained to work in a group, to listen without judgment, to give and receive constructive feedback, to understand someone else’s intention without projecting our own.
And yet, this is a missing piece in most writers’ journeys.

Meeting regularly in a small group, with people facing the same creative challenges and sharing the same desire to move forward, brings clarity, support and a sense of relief.
It’s a space without pressure to perform. Just the commitment to show up, share what you’ve written, and receive clear, honest feedback to help you go further.

You’ll meet fellow writers and discover the quiet strength of a kind, focused, and ambitious creative community.

We meet once a week for three-hour sessions. Each writer receives dedicated time, with precise feedback from me and insights from the group.
The workshop runs over 12 weeks and includes one individual 30-minute private session to support your writing journey.

Workshop Schedule

Week One to Four: In our first session, each of you will share your project in detail. Together, we’ll identify your deeper intentions and clarify what drives your story.
The following sessions are dedicated to building strong foundations — exploring your theme, intention, and the broader context of your narrative (historical, political, social…) before we dive into character work: characterization, psychology, and narrative arcs.

Week Five to Twelve : You’ll start writing 10 to 15 pages per week. In each session, a portion of your work will be read aloud, then discussed collectively.
We’ll analyze your pages with care and precision, and you’ll receive detailed feedback and rewriting directions — from me and the group. This format also includes one 30-minute individual session, to be scheduled during the 12 weeks, based on your specific needs.
