As a story consultant, I help writers reconnect with their original intention, so they can feel grounded and supported as they fully enter the world of their story.
I began my work as a writing consultant in New York, where I lived for eight years and studied at NYU. There, I led workshops and one-on-one sessions with screenwriters from around the world before returning to France.
Alongside my work as a consultant and screenwriter, I have over 20 years of experience as a film producer. I produced the award-winning feature Dhalinyaro (Youth) by Lula Ali Ismaïl, the first ever Djiboutian made film, as well as the documentary Ceci n’est pas une guerre (This is not a war) by Magali Roucaut and Éric John Bretmel, released in French cinemas in April 2025.
My work focuses on helping authors, whether they are at the script stage or in the editing room, shape strong story structures, build complex characters, and bring their vision to life with clarity, depth, and emotion.
Above all, I encourage them to write stories that reach beyond the personal — to make films that resonate, question, and bring meaning to the world we live in.
Screenwriting & teaching
I have developed a method grounded in both theory and practice, shaped by years of experience as a screenwriter and co-writer on feature films such as Dhalinyaro and TV series, by leading screenwriting workshops in New York, teaching at EICAR in Paris, and working as a producer for over 20 years.
This dual perspective, creative and production-driven, allows me to help writers craft stories that are both emotionally powerful and structurally solid, while staying connected to the realities of filmmaking.
My approach draws on a wide range of dramaturgical tools, but always starts with listening: to the story, to the writer, and to what needs to emerge. I help authors clarify their intention, structure their narrative, and externalize the emotional core of their characters through action and conflict. Much of this happens in the rewriting process, not as a corrective stage, but as a space for discovery, refinement, and true authorship.

As a writing consultant

What I love most is entering someone else’s creative world and helping them clarify what they’re really trying to say.
Writing is never just about the script itself. It’s a dialogue, a dynamic space where something deeper can emerge. For me, it’s a mix of intuition, structure, and shared curiosity.
“My ideal relationship is with someone who wants to play, who is not afraid of introspection and the unknown. It's a bit of a mirror game, a mix of ping-pong and investigation. We go in search of the author's intention, their desire, and we build the script from this creative, fertile foundation. I'm passionate about it.”
This is the heart of my work: creating a space where stories become clearer, and more alive, by reconnecting with the person who’s telling them.
